Quando a infantilidade nos tira do sério...

Quando se valoriza mais a aparência (comportamento) do que a substância, o resultado é a paranóia.

Quando a paranóia vem de cima, instala-se o medo e, consequentemente, a obediência cega dos temerosos e acomodados. Obediência motivada pelo impulso de agradar, de mostrar serviço. 

Entretanto, os que se indignam, e se rebelam, pegando em armas e participando em manifestações anti regime, são alvo de perseguição e, quando apanhados, são humilhados. Servem de bode espiatório. São como canais através dos quais os fracos — os que desesperam por validação — expurgam a sua culpa e frustrações.

O bullying institucionalizado. 

A infantilização da sociedade.

 Reflexão inspirada em memórias que me vieram à cabeça, espoletadas por esta leitura:

"Nos países comunistas, a inspecção e controlo dos cidadãos são actividades sociais permanentes e essenciais. Um pintor, para ser autorizado a expor, um simples cidadão, para obter um visto para passar férias à beira-mar, um futebolista, para poder jogar na selecção nacional, têm primeiro que recolher os mais variados relatórios e certificados (da porteira, dos colegas, da polícia, da célula do partido, do comité da empresa), que depois são amontoados, sopesados, lidos e relidos por funcionários especialmente afectos a essa tarefa. O que vem escrito nos atestados não tem absolutamente nada a ver com a competência de um cidadão para pintar ou jogar à bola ou com um estado de saúde que exija uma estada à beira-mar. Só contêm informações a respeito de uma coisa que é o chamado "perfil político" do cidadão (aquilo que o cidadão diz, aquilo que pensa, a maneira como se comporta, se vai ou não às reuniões e aos desfiles do 1° de Maio). Como tudo (vida quotidiana, empréstimos, férias) depende da forma como se é classificado, todos os cidadãos são obrigados (para poderem jogar na selecção nacional, expor os seus quadros ou passar férias à beira-mar) a comportar-se de maneira a ser bem classificados."

"International coordination is the most sensible way to address the [taxation] problem.
If Apple makes 10% of their global sales in France, then France could say, for example: 'we're going to consider that 10% of Apple's global profits have been made in France. And that's what we, France, are going to tax'. irrespective of where Apple's employees are located, or intelectual property, or irrespective of... All of that would become irrelevant. And so a reform like that, what economy is to call formulary apportionment,  which is a very powerful way to curb profit shifting. In the system that I describe, where you apportion global profits, based on where sales are made, you remove any incentive for firms to shift profits. It becomes impossible for them because, in practise what happens is that, France or any country, decides where the profits are taxable. Today we let multinational companies, basically, decide where. And if you let them decide, they'll decide to put their profits in Bermuda (tax haven). If you decide for them, by saying that you are going to look at where you made your sales (not something that multinational companies can manipulate), then it becomes possible to tax multinational firms. The beauty with this type of approach is that you don't need any international coordination. That is, any country, unilaterally, could say, tomorrow that's how we are going to tax multinational companies."
